At First Ascent, we believe climbing coaching and personal training work hand-in-hand. Climbing clients benefit from our knowledge and understanding of training for muscle development which leads to stronger climbers. We assess technique scientifically as an application of human movement and biomechanics, correcting to ensure the climber is moving as efficiently as possible. Personal training clients benefit from our wide range of unique apparatus and exercises which have shown results with our climbers, helping clients achieve the fit, strong and toned bodies they wish for without the usual boring weights routines.

Climbing Coaching


We provide individually tailored programs to help you achieve your climbing goals – whether that is international or national competition success, or sending your long term project. Work with our trainers in a local climbing gym or subscribe to our online programs.


Personal Training


Personal Training at your home, a local park, or wherever suits you! Our trainers aim to make personal training easily accessible for you, so the only hard work is the workout! We provide one-on-one or small group services, so feel free to invite your friends.
